I am Tina Pickvet, ND trained at the Naturopathic Institute of Therapies and Education in Mt. Pleasant, Mi and became a Traditional Naturopathic Doctor. Holistic Health For You and Me was established in 2009 as a traveling wellness based business and made home visits to many clients for 4 years. In 2013 I joined Health, Naturally! with Jan Doerr, ND and traded the office out of my car to renting an office at Health, Naturally! where I am able to see more clients on a daily basis.
My specialties as a practitioner in multiple wellness techniques, including Nutritional balancing and Herbal therapies, Bodywork modalities: such as Reflexology, CrainialSacral, Emotion Code therapy, Reiki and Solfeggio Tuning Fork therapy . Plus, we incorporate the Ultimate Total Health Spa, from HTE USA, which includes the SOQI Bed and Chi machine for Natural healing using Far Infrared Heat Energy and Motion Energy. The E-Power and ERE machine provides electro therapy that promotes re-connection and communication of the electrical circuitry of the entire body for areas that may be suppressed, damaged or broken. It also importantly activates ATP, a critical function of the human body.
I believe in preventative health, by keeping the body balanced and free of toxins and stress that can cause health challenges, we can live a happy and healthy life!
I follow the six principles of Naturopathy:
1. First Do No Harm: support the healing systems inherent in the body and mind by using methods, medicines and techniques that are in harmony with natural processes.
2.The Healing Power of Nature: preference for noninvasive treatments which minimize the risks of harmful side effects. Trust in the body's inherent wisdom to heal itself.
3. Identify the Cause: every illness has an underlying cause, often in aspects of the lifestyle, diet or habits of the individual.
4. Treat the Whole Person: view the body as an integrated whole in all its physical, mental, emotional and spiritual dimensions.
5. Doctor as Teacher: educate individuals in achieving and maintaining health!
6. Prevention: focus on overall health, wellness and disease prevention!
I enjoy helping people find their way to natural health through healing their whole being starting by examining their diet and lifestyle to bringing more happiness into their life.
